Darryl has both a bachelors degree and masters degree in bioengineering from the University of Utah. Darryl has over 10yrs engineering experience including manufacturing engineering, automation and medical product design. Darryl has successfully developed a number of medical products from concept to completion including all aspects of the design process as well as domestic and international regulatory approval. Darryl has also helped create and obtain accreditation of ISO13485 compliant quality systems for medical manufacturers and developers. Darryl’s strengths are in generating innovative solutions to complex problems and in generating competitive technologies within a tight patent landscape.
Brent participated in the Integrated Product Development (IPD) dual master's program at Brigham Young University, earning Masters degrees in Mechanical Engineering and Business Administration. He was one of two individuals recruited into Ford Motor Company's Business Analyst program where he rotated between key product development areas including product marketing, business development, project management, engineering and manufacturing. He enjoyed his time there and really loves to see the products he worked on driving around town. Brent left Ford Motor Company and switched to the medical device industry working on DNA diagnostic technology as a project manager and an engineer. He had design responsibility for disposable devices, helped establish and maintain a ISO 13485 quality system and managed the product development.
